Role debut as Marguerite in ‘Faust’ and Gala Concert at Latvian National Opera

This summer, Marina Rebeka makes her highly anticipated role debut as Marguerite in Gounod’s Faust. Performing at the Latvian National Opera in Riga, Latvia, she is delighted to debut this role in her home city. Alongside tenor Benjamin Bernheim as Faust, and bass Andreas Bauer as Méphistophélès, Ms. Rebeka takes the stage on June 8 and 17under the baton ofTadeusz Wojciechowski. Directed by Aik Karapetian, this acclaimed production’s creative team includes Kristīne Pasternaka (costumes), Kristaps Skulte (sets), and A.J. Weissbard (lighting designer). On June 18 she joins an acclaimed roster of soloists at Latvian National Opera, including Inga Kalna, Maija Kovaļevska, Pavel Černoch, Egils Siliņš, and more for a Gala Concert titled “Viva Romantica!” led by Mārtiņš Ozoliņš.
