This is an opera in four acts by Gioachino Rossini, with a French libretto by Étienne de Jouy and Hippolyte Bis based on Friedrich Schiller’s play William Tell. The Graham Vick staging features a spectacular international cast, including Nicola Alaimo, Marina Rebeka, Juan Diego Flórez, and Amanda Forsythe, with the Orchestra e coro del teatro Comunale di Bolognanale di Bologna led by Michele Mariotti.
